The happiest day of the week

Today is Friday and the fun weekends are coming. Finally I will get two days of complete rest. The day started of with announcement of awards. My CCA managed to get the gold award for the President's Challenge for selling the most amount of bears and raising the highest amount of cash. Unfortunately, Friday is one of the many subject-filled day, with Literature, Higher Chinese, PE Theory, Maths and History. Literature lesson was one of boredom. My teacher 'flew the kite' and we had to do two assignments. Of course, most of the students just procrastinated and had fun while I finished it as soon as it was handed out so I would not have to worry about it anymore. Higher Chinese was too not exciting because we just did one worksheet and lesson was over. PE Theory followed suit. The first half of the day seemed rather dreary. I shall be skiping maths(nothing biased) and following to History. It was a pretty funny lesson as ignorant students were punished by lack of information or remarking something rude or inappropriate by crouching. We also finished watching the history of Singapore on youtube and for more laughs, we watched a clip about Hitler angry about ERP. The day ended quite nicely with only Maths homework to finish. Probably the only bad thing was about my dad, he has been going to the gym to lose his 'love handles'. He had a mild fever but is not in condition to work. Well, hope things go for the better and to all a happy weekend.

Second or most exciting day ever.

Wow, this day really is eventful, other than my birthday. I don't feel like talking about the whole day's affairs and instead just talk about new events. Finally, I have been waiting for so long and now its happening, my first lab session ( Science ). Its been a while since I've beeen there. Although its the third day of school, the Sec 4s have their Science Pratical Assesment. Over there, we had to do an experiment about diffusion using blocks of agar. One of the few flaws was caused by my lab partner, (anonymous to prevent embarrasment), who spilled the container full of hydrochloric acid all over the floor. Luckily it was after the experiment. Now to talk about something I do everyday, go to the library. One of my recent favorites is wicked words where I learnt things I never knew like William Shakespeare is an anagram ( check the dictionary ) of I am a weakish speller, which is amazingly true. Yes,  I almost forgot, I am a member of a highly prestigious choir, the VS Choir. Most people think that choir is for gays and sissies and you may few awkward, but here its different. Its a boys choir so that limits the awkward feeling and some of our members are sportsmen (or so I think ). This year I am a senior and have to be an example to the juniors who we have just met today ( Hooray! ). Tired and weary from choir practice, reaching home to discover that most of our appliances are unable to operate. What a shock, hopefully the electrician can fix that problem otherwise I would be bored to death.Don't take things in life for granted for you never know when you might lose it.

Getting old

As you can infer from the title, I am starting to lose my memory. Today, I was almost late for school, lucky me. During Chinese lesson, we had some project work, thankfully today we had all the required manpower so we were able to complete our assignment with quality and speed, unlike the previous time.We were given some homework, writing a paragraph using the given techniques we've learnt. So far I require more inspiration. Finally, our first OPW lesson.Originally we thought of using the library but unfortunately got the hall instead. Not much to improve over there. Probably the only improvement I can think of is adding a podium and redecorating the hall. Finally, for the day, me and my mischievous brother head of to tuition class( English ). Next, we had dinner and were left with rest and relax. Unfortunately, I probably forgot about my folder and had my mom commenting. "Good luck finding it. " I feel its kind of ambiguous as it could mean she wishes that I find my bag soon, or is using sarcasm to punish me. I have absolutely no idea which is it. Anyway I just like to tell all my readers here, try to be more responsible and try not to forget where you place your valuables.

Another boring day

Hi, today is my first day of being officially a true blue 14 year old. Today started out with some normal announcements, including a short speech about our school (Victoria School) getting into the finals of the N.E mation competition. Just click the link at the end of this post if you wish to vote. After that it was a wushu performance, not as spectacular as I imagined it to be, but hey, I can't do those stunts. Since today was a Monday, we had moral education lessons, this would be the first lesson and it was about resilience knowing about your strengths and how to correct your inner weakness. Then we had a Science lesson where for half the lesson we were changing seats. Much was a waste of time although some good stuff happened with this change of seats. I'll just skip to the part where we had our home Economics lesson. Remember my completion of the homework, turns out I had to redo it because of misunderstanding. I used to wonder why boys only did D&T while girls did Home Economics, now I know why. Sewing and cooking are not really a boy's thing. After that, I had to rush home to complete all my homework, before heading for piano class. I was so worn out I took a nap and woke up feeling groggy having range problems (playing notes an octave higher than what it's supposed to sound). After such a dreary and tiring day, I feel relieved reaching home. Look's like the phrase " Home is where the heart is." is right after all.Click here to vote. http://www.nemation.sg/

It's finally the day!

17 January, yes this day is my birthday! The day in celebration of me. Of course in every story there is a prologue and here's this one. I was watching tv when my mom started to ask me what I wanted to eat for lunch, I  replied, only to have being asked the same question again. It was so annoying I happened to say stuff that should'nt have left my mouth but once they were out, I was miserable. Let bygones be bygones, I say so everything is alright now. Today, I woked up at an "early time", 8,o clock had breakfast and did all my remaining homework like my Home Economics, still not sure if it is good enough for a excellent grade. Then, we had a rush for lunch at pasta mania, where I enjoyed my sumptuous, lip-moistening Carbonara, and licked every morsel of my plate. Afterwards, I headed for my Grade 8 Music Theory class, learning about new stuff. News of my birthday was not spread to them for I feel awfully awkward. What a very not celebratory event for such an occasion, thankfully the evening got better. We headed down to Orchard building where we bought some shoes for the family and also got a freebie for mentioning my birthday, Wow! Tired and weary, we head to Waraku and have a very delicious meal. By then it was 9.30 and I wanted to have a special cake, an ice-cream cake however the stall was at E!Hub and closed at 10.00. So we rushed quickly and managed to get one. My normal curfew (sleeping time) was at 10.00 but my parents extended it to blow the candles of the cake. Now sitting in the bathroom, typing away for more privacy, I think what a very ordinary birthday, yet one so memorable. I would like to wish everyone who's birthday is today a happy birthday!
